When Jesus Came
The day I took sick
Was somethin' that happened
So fast and quick
It was so painful
Lyin' in the hospital like this
I couldn't keep nothin'
On my belly
And I could hardly breathe
This is when Jesus
Came in to rescue me
The doctors did every test
But they could not find
What was tryin' to
Lye me to rest
My oxygen level dropped constantly
And I'd be so weak
Yet and still
It was Jesus
Who came in to rescue me
I'd stop breathin'
A few time in one night
But this is when god's angels
Began to take flight
It was like fresh air
Surroundin' me about
As they filled my lungs
And helped take the pnemonia out
They discovered a liver,
Lung, and intestinal disease
On top of the kidney
That I dispersed at birth
But just like all the hospitals
I've been in since I was concieved
Yet readers
It was Jesus who came in to rescue me
